2 Hour HIV/AIDS course now available
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) has approved www.CosmetologyCampus.com as a provider for online Barber CE. CosmetologyCampus.com is now offering a 2 hour course to satisfy the CE requirement for an HIV/AIDS course for Barbers in Florida to renew their license.
As with Cosmetology, sanitation and disinfection are also a major concern in the Barber profession. This new barber course addresses the key issues pertaining to sanitation and disinfection relating to HIV/AIDS. The Florida Barbers CE course includes online training that pertains to:
• Common types of bacterial infections and their transmission
• Hepatitis and HIV/AIDS
• Difference between sanitation and sterilization
• Proper handling of disinfectants in the salon environment
• Maintaining a clean and healthy work area
